Mr. Poltrock's practice emphasizes creditor's rights in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate, provisional and post-judgment remedies including receiverships, writs of attachment, writs of possession and enforcement of judgments. Mr. Poltrock also handles real estate disputes, workouts of distressed loans, real estate finance and other forms of real property and asset sales. Mr. Poltrock is a member of the Receivership Forum, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He has previously presented to the Firm's clients on a variety of issues concerning creditors' rights. Mr. Poltrock is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Southern, and Central Districts of California.

Mr. Poltrock was born in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Poltrock earned his B.S. magna cum laude in 1989 from the University of Southern California School of Business (emphasis on finance and real estate), and graduated cum laude earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1992, where he served as assistant editor of the USF Law Review Journal, participated in the Moot Court Honors Program and received the American Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Research & Writing and Civil Procedure. He was admitted to practice in California in 1992.
