Steven N. Bloom


Mr. Bloom has practiced with the Firm since 1979.  Mr. Bloom's practice emphasizes structuring real property and commercial financings, workouts and risk management.  He has lectured throughout California on these topics for the California Bankers Association, Robert Morris Associates, and Western Independent Bankers' Association, among other organizations.  His transactional work includes real property and other asset sales, documenting business arrangements and the development of other forms of documentation required by financial institutions, loan servicers and other providers of financial services.  He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (member, Real Property Section), the American Bar Association and of the State Bar of California.  He is also a board member and immediate past president of the Friends of Child Advocates, which supports the Child Advocate Program of the Los Angeles County Dependency Courts.

Mr. Bloom was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1953.  He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California in 1976, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1979, where he served as Executive Editor of its International Law Journal.
