Michael Gerard Fletcher Mr. Fletcher is an AV Rated lawyer whose practice emphasizes commercial, real estate, and bankruptcy litigation; major debt workout negotiations, restructuring, and documentation of commercial, personal property and real estate-secured, and construction credits. Mr. Fletcher served as research assistant to Peter Coogan, one of the original draftsmen/correspondents of the Uniform Commercial Code. He has lectured to client groups and organizations such as Robert Morris Associates. Mr. Fletcher is a member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, the Financial Lawyers Conference, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Fletcher was born in Salinas, California, in 1951. He earned his B.A. with distinction from Stanford University in 1973 and his J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1976.
