Marshall J. August

BIO

For almost 34 years, Marshall August has been an attorney at Frandzel assisting with clients' credit problems, both secured and unsecured real and personal property matters. Marshall specializes in provisional remedies including writs of attachment, writs of possession, and receiverships. In addition, Marshall’s practice emphasizes post-judgement enforcement of judgements.

Marshall has been a frequent lecturer for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and client groups on creditors’ rights. Mr. August was the past chair of the Executive Committee of the Provisional and Post-Judgement Remedies sectors of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Lead counsel for a bank in a receivership over a medical clinic in which the bank, working in conjunction with the receiver was able to successfully sell all assets of the clinic to a third party and transition the patients to a new medical provider.

Successfully liquidated a car dealership while working with the vehicle manufacturer which resulted in the full payoff of a multi-million dollar loan.
